Do you need full admin access to my WordPress site?
Yes โ to perform updates, backups, and optimizations I need WordPress admin access. All credentials are handled securely, stored in an encrypted password manager, and can be revoked at any time. I also recommend using a dedicated maintenance user role where possible.
What happens if an update breaks my site?
Before applying any updates, I ensure a fresh backup exists. If an update causes a conflict or breaks functionality, I restore the site from the backup and investigate the cause โ typically finding an incompatible plugin and sourcing a safe alternative. Your site is never left broken.
I already have managed hosting โ do I still need this?
Managed hosting handles server-level maintenance, not application-level maintenance. Your hosting provider doesn’t update your plugins, check for plugin conflicts, clean your database, scan for vulnerabilities specific to your setup, or send you monthly reports. These are fundamentally different services.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes โ there are no long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. I’ll provide a final handover report documenting the current state of your site, all credentials, and maintenance history so your next provider has everything they need.
What if I need something outside regular maintenance?
The Growth Plan includes 1 hour per month of minor content or fix requests. For larger tasks โ new pages, design changes, custom functionality โ I can provide a separate quote. As an existing maintenance client, you get prioritized scheduling and preferred rates for additional work.
